Sunday Injury Update
Chicago Bears running back Cedric Benson hurt his left ankle at the end of a 21-yard run early in the second quarter of Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos and had to leave the field on a cart.The play occurred with 12:52 left in the first half. Benson stayed down on the field for several minutes and then the cart came to take him away. He was replaced by Adrian Peterson. Benson's return was announced as questionable.
St. Louis Rams quarterback Marc Bulger suffered a concussion in Sunday's 24-19 loss to Seattle, and coach Scott Linehan said it was too early to know if he'll be available for next week's game against Atlanta.
Quarterback Donovan McNabb will miss the Philadelphia Eagles' game Sunday against New England because of a sprained ankle and injured thumb. McNabb hurt the thumb on his throwing hand early against Miami last Sunday and left after injuring his ankle in the second quarter. He has not practiced all week.
