McNabb May Be Out Sunday

Philadelphia Eagles coach Andy Reid admitted Monday he was more concerned with the swelling around quarterback Donovan McNabb's thumb than the swelling around his ankle according to the Philadelphia Daily News. An MRI exam on Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb's injured right ankle revealed a small "pocket of swelling" on the back of the ankle. Reid said the thumb on McNabb's throwing hand also is "quite swollen," but is not broken. McNabb injured the thumb late in the first quarter but it did not begin to swell until later in the game. As for McNabb's status for Sunday night's game against the unbeaten New England Patriots, Reid said McNabb would be evaluated when practice resumes Wednesday. If McNabb cannot play, A.J. Feeley would start in his place.
