Injury Update

Adrian Peterson: The Minnesota Vikings listed running back Adrian Peterson as questionable on their Friday injury report, but the rookie sensation is more likely to play next week than in Sunday's game at the New York Giants. Peterson, who tore the lateral collateral ligament in his right knee in a Nov. 11 loss at Green Bay, practiced on a limited basis for the third consecutive day Friday according to the St. Paul Pioneer Press. He said the knee felt fine during practices, which didn't include any contact, and wouldn't rule himself out for Sunday.

Donovan McNabb: The Philadelphia Inquirer reported that back-up A.J. Feeley ran the first-team offense for the second straight day and appears to be the starting quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles against the New England Patriots Sunday. The Inquirer reported Donovan McNabb remained in the trainer's room as teammates prepared for the Patriots. The only thing left is for Andy Reid to make the announcement, but the Eagles' head coach would not do it Friday. McNabb is being treated for a sprained right ankle and a swollen right thumb, two injuries he suffered during the first half of the Eagles' game against Miami in which Feeley came on in relief and led the team to two touchdowns and a 17-7 victory.
