Vikings Trade For Holcomb
The Minnesota Vikings might not be as confident in Tavaris Jackson than they say they are. Today the Vikings traded for Eagles backup Kelly Holcomb for an undisclosed draft pick in 2009. This leaves the Eagles with McNabb, AJ Feely, and second round pick Kevin Kolb. The Vikings had only Brooks Bollinger and Tavaris Jackson left on the roster before adding Holcomb. Holcomb gives the Vikings an experienced QB, entering his 11th season. Holcomb has thrown for 5,401 yards and 37 touchdowns with 37 interceptions in 38 career games.
