Mangini Threatens Team/ Pennington vs Kellen

After Thomas Jones went down with a calf injury, his agent Drew Rosenhaus announced to the media that it was a strained calf and that he would be back by the regular season opener. That did not make New York Jets coach Eric Mangini happy, he has reportedly threatened the whole team that they can have huge fines or suspensions if they or their agents release any inside information. Mangini also said that Chad Pennington is for sure the starter this year, but has gained confidence in rookie backup Kellen Clemens. Pennington has been shown up in the preseason by Clemens, who has four TD passes and two interceptions in the first two preseason games. Fantasy Warning: Yes Pennington had a huge season last year, but he did have a career-high 16 interceptions...If Pennington continues to struggle do not expect Mangini to hesitate to put Kellen Clemens in the game. Pick Chad Pennington with caution.

I would give Kellen a year or two to develop and see how Pennington does this year. He was comeback player of the year last year, and he's got great weapons with Coles and Cotchery...and with the help of Thomas Jones he could have a great year this year.
