Bucs, Broncos, Seek Part Of Plummer's $$
In March, the Denver Broncos traded quarterback Jake Plummer to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for a fourth round pick. That pick was later changed into a seventh round pick because Plummer decided to retire rather than play with the Bucs. Now, both the Broncos and the Buccaneers are seeking $7-7.5 million each from Plummer because of a "breach of contract". The Buccaneers are also fining Plummer $14,000 for each training camp practice he misses. Plummer played in the league for 10 years and has had 161 touchdowns and 161 interceptions for the Arizona Cardinals (97-02) and for the Broncos (03-06)
