Packers Rout Seahawks
The Green Bay Packers showed a lot of improvement this week, routing the Seattle Seahawks for a 48-13 win. Brett Favre and the first team offense got two touchdowns and a field goal, one a pass to rookie receiver James Jones and rookie Brandon Jackson ran one for a score. The first team defense did just as well sacking Seattle quarterbacks seven times. When the second offense came in for the Packers the big plays kept going. Aaron Rodgers threw 10-16 for 97 yards and a touchdown, but fumbled twice. Not only did the first and second offenses and defenses have great games, but so did the special teams. Return man Will Blackmon ran 83 yards on a kick return before getting a horse-collar tackle which tacked on another eight yards to the play. The player of the game award goes to James Jones who caught two touchdowns for 58 yards in just 2 and 1/2 quarters of play.
