Injury Update

Laurence Maroney is returning to the Patriots backfield after missing three weeks with a groin injury. Backup Sammy Morris filled in with a pair of 100-yard games before hurting his chest in last Sunday's win over the Cowboys. Morris is expected to miss this week's game in Miami.
Maroney has rushed for 252 yards this season, averaging 4.7 yards per carry.

Titans quarterback Vince Young is expected to be the backup behind Kerry Collins on Sunday against Houston, pending a pre-game workout. Young had injured his right quadriceps against Tampa Bay and had not practiced all week until taking one series of snaps with the scout team on Friday. He began Friday's workout by dropping back and throwing the ball, then ran the Titans scout team offense during a red zone drill against the starting defense.

Wide receiver Marvin Harrison remains questionable for the Indianapolis Colts' game against Jacksonville on Monday night because of a bruised left knee. Colts coach Tony Dungy said before practice Saturday that Harrison would probably be a game-time decision in the AFC South clash between the Colts (5-0) and Jaguars (4-1). "We'll see how much he can do," Dungy said, adding that the practice would be "a good indicator" of whether the eight-time Pro Bowl selection will play. The 12-year NFL veteran has been hampered by the knee since bruising it in the first quarter of the Colts' Sept. 30 win over Denver. Harrison has seen relatively light work the past two weeks. Middle linebacker Gary Brackett was also questionable for the Jaguars after suffering an abdominal strain near the end of Thursday's practice. He was held out of Friday's workout, but got some work Saturday. "He's feeling like he's going to play," Dungy said. Offensive guard Dylan Gandy did not practice Saturday due to an illness and also was listed as questionable. Rookie outside linebacker Victor Worlsey (foot) was questionable, but rookie offensive tackle Tony Ugoh (ankle) practiced Friday and Saturday and should start.
Safety Bob Sanders (chest/ribs) and wide receiver Aaron Moorehead (back) also practiced Saturday after resting their injuries during Friday's workout. Both are expected to play against the Jaguars.

In what will be viewed as a remarkable comeback if he only steps foot on the field Sunday, the Kansas City Chiefs activated tailback Priest Holmes on Saturday for their game against the Oakland Raiders. The four-time Pro Bowl back has not appeared in a game since suffering serious head and neck trauma in an Oct. 30, 2005 contest against the San Diego Chargers. He has spent nearly two years recovering from the injuries and most league observers felt that Holmes would never play again. Holmes, 34, spent the final half of the 2005 season on injured reserve and the entire 2006 campaign on the NFL's physically unable to perform list. Because of the head and neck trauma, and a serious hip injury that threatened to end his career in 2004, Holmes has played in only 15 games since the end of the 2003 season. Len Pasquerelli- ESPN
