Eagles Cut Spikes

The Eagles have released two-time Pro Bowl linebacker Takeo Spikes. SpikesThe 10-year veteran played one season in Philadelphia and finished second on the team with 139 tackles. Spikes missed the final two games last year after having shoulder surgery. Spikes is the second high-profile player cut by the Eagles in a week. Defensive end Jevon Kearse was let go last Thursday after playing four seasons in Philadelphia.
