Ravens Hire Harbaugh
Philadelphia Eagles secondary coach John Harbaugh is traveling to Baltimore Friday for a second interview with the Baltimore Ravens about their head coaching job, agent Brian Harlan told the Philadelphia Daily News. Earlier this week, the Baltimore Sun indicated that if Cowboys offensive coordinator Jason Garrett didn't take the Ravens' job, Baltimore would reach for Harbaugh. It is unclear whether Harbaugh's trip to Baltimore means he will be hired. Harbaugh also has been mentioned as a possible defensive coordinator for Baltimore, if he doesn’t get the top job. He could become the third possible heir to Jim Johnson to leave the Eagles in recent years, following Ron Rivera (to Chicago, and now San Diego) and Steve Spagnuolo, who has the Giants’ defense playing for the NFC title in Green Bay this weekend. Johnson, the Birds’ defensive coordinator, turns 67 in May.
